In Moscow, on the Yaroslavl highway, a police officer knocked down a pensioner who was crossing the road in the wrong place. This was announced on April 28 by the REN TV channel.

According to him, an 84-year-old woman was hospitalized with multiple fractures – in an accident she injured her arm and leg.

“On April 28, 2021, at 15.20, in the area of ​​house 22 on Yaroslavskoe highway, an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Losinoostrovsky district, driving an official car, hit a woman pedestrian crossing the carriageway outside the zone of the pedestrian crossing,” the Russian Interior Ministry’s Main Directorate for Moscow confirmed.

It is noted that the policeman provided the victim with first aid and called the doctors himself.

On the fact of the incident, an inspection is being carried out, based on its results a decision will be made in accordance with the current legislation, they added to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

On April 27, it was reported that a State Duma car had an accident near the Serpukhovskaya metro station in Moscow. According to the REN TV channel, three cars were involved in the accident, but another driver, also a taxi driver, fled the scene.
