In the Poltava region of Ukraine, a man stabbed two women. This was announced on Friday, December 25, by the regional police press service.
The incident took place on the evening of December 24th. The investigative-operational group that arrived at the call found two women, aged 30 and 32, with bodily injuries in a private house.
According to the preliminary version of the investigation, a 36-year-old man stabbed them during the conflict.
A 32-year-old woman was hospitalized in the surgical department of the Poltava Central District Hospital, and a 30-year-old woman received medical assistance on the spot without hospitalization.
The suspect was detained, a criminal case was opened on the fact of attempted murder.
On December 25, it was reported that police in Moscow detained a man suspected of attempting to assassinate his ex-wife. According to the investigation, on December 23, near one of the residential buildings on Belovezhskaya Street, a man shot his ex-wife, with whom he was in conflict, in the head. The 44-year-old victim was hospitalized in serious condition.
