In Samara, on a slope near Glory Square, a large-scale New Year installation was launched. According to the representatives of the supplier company, this is the largest festive dynamic light fountain in Europe.
According to the press service of the city administration, it took the Samaragorsvet specialists almost a month to install it. They had not only to install everything manually, but to bring the elements to the place of work on their own, since the cars cannot enter the slope, writes NIA Samara.
For the stability of the structure, about 6 tons of loading plates were used. The length of the LED strip fixed to the metal frame is over 4 km.
In the afternoon of November 25, a test activation took place, after which it was decided to launch the installation on an ongoing basis, without waiting for December.
Earlier in November, it was reported that this year the estate of the Samara Santa Claus will be issued taking into account the unfavorable epidemiological situation due to the coronavirus. It will be dispersed in five separate locations: Santa Claus’s hut, the ice kingdom, the miracle stove, the magic oak and Baba Yaga’s hut.
