A resident of the Volgograd region gave the fraudster more than a million rubles for removing damage.
The incident took place in the Novoanninsky district. The pseudo-healer convinced a local woman that damage and curse were imposed on her and her family. The frightened woman regularly paid for the sessions of “complex” cleaning and the imposition of some kind of protection. In total, from March 2019 to May 2020, she gave the fraudster money and jewelry for a total of about 1.1 million rubles.
A criminal case was opened against the 31-year-old malefactor, she fully admitted her guilt. On Thursday, December 17, the Novoanninsky District Court sentenced the swindler to 3 years in a strict regime colony.
The woman will go to jail when her one-year-old child reaches the age of fourteen, according to the joint press service of the courts.
Note that the verdict has not yet entered into legal force and may be appealed.
