The road accident, due to which the child and the elderly man were hospitalized, happened the day before in the Central District.
As reported press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Volgograd Region, October 31, a 30-year-old driver was driving a Toyota Mark X along 7th Gvardeyskaya Street. At about 15:45 the motorist drove into the oncoming lane. As a result of this maneuver, the car crashed into the Mitsubishi Lancer, which eventually collided with BMW X3, which were traveling in the same direction.
A 67-year-old Mitsubishi Lancer driver and a 12-year-old BMW passenger were injured in an accident. Both victims were taken to a medical facility.
