The Ministry of Internal Affairs has banned entry into the Russian Federation for 122 foreigners who participated in unauthorized actions

During a meeting of the Commission on Security, Migration Policy and Interethnic Relations in the Public Chamber, the head of the migration department of the Moscow Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Dmitry Sergienko said that in the first three months of 2021, decisions were made to ban entry into the Russian Federation for a period of 40 years for more than 100 foreigners who participated in unauthorized actions in Moscow.

“Based on the results of this work, in relation to 122 foreign citizens who are participants in unauthorized actions and protests in the city of Moscow … the migration departments have made decisions not to allow entry for 40 years,” he said.

Sergienko noted that the capital’s police officers are constantly working to restrict the entry into the country of foreigners who pose a threat to public order. So, in the first three months, 24,455 foreign citizens, potentially prone to offenses, were not allowed into Russia.
