The arrested head of the administration of the Aksai district of the Rostov region, Vitaly Borzenko, will be expelled from the United Russia party. The decision will be valid until the consideration of the criminal case initiated against him. Membership will be established based on the party’s charter.

Let us remind you that Vitaly Borzenko was detained in Kislovodsk on April 12. The official is suspected of organizing a criminal community, fraud and abuse of office. On the evening of April 13, the Leninsky District Court of Rostov-on-Don chose a preventive measure for him in the form of detention for a period of two months.

According to donday.ru, from 2000 to 2021, Borzenko was a member of an organized criminal community, which also included businessman Karim Babaev and his two sons, Eduard and Vadim.

They allegedly took possession of six land plots from the redistribution fund of the Aksai district with a total area of ​​19 hectares and a cadastral value of over 426 million rubles. It is assumed that on these sites they launched business activities and earned about 220 million rubles.

Eduard Babayev was sent to jail for two months on April 13, after Vitaly Borzenko. The whereabouts of the remaining suspects are still unknown.
