The press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov will ask to send him information about the case of a resident of Yekaterinburg, who died during the arrest by the fighters of the Russian Guard in the summer of 2020. Thus, on Thursday, April 15, he answered journalists’ questions about the classification of the criminal case about the incident.
Peskov noted that he does not have information about this case.
“We will definitely request information on this matter,” he promised.
Earlier that day, it became known that the Sverdlovsk Regional Court conferred a secrecy stamp on the case in relation to the victim of the resistance of the Rosgvardia in Yekaterinburg. According to TASS, the lawyer of the parents of the deceased, Alexei Bushmakov, according to the instance, the case contains information constituting a state secret.
On the night of June 1, 2020, in Yekaterinburg, SOBR officers of the Rosgvardia Directorate for the Sverdlovsk Region shot at 27-year-old Vladimir Taushankov, who took away several rolls of wallpaper from one of the shopping centers, Gazeta.ru recalls. The deceased was in the apartment at his place of residence and did not open it to the police.
The Rosgvardia explained the death of a man during the storming of an apartment by the extreme conditions of a special operation to arrest him.
