The South Korean company Samsung has officially presented a line of new flagship smartphones Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra in the format of an online presentation. The broadcast was conducted on Wednesday, August 5, on the manufacturer’s website.

The new Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has a 69-inch bezel-less display. The smartphone was equipped with a camera with three modules: the main sensor with a 108 megapixel lens and the ability to record video in 8K format, two other sensors of 12 megapixels, one of them with support for a fivefold optical “zoom”. The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will go on sale in 256GB and 512GB models. The flagship comes with a 4500 milliampere-hour battery as standard.

The Galaxy Note 20 gadget also has a bezel-less display, but with a diagonal of 6.7 inches. Just like the “older” model, its camera has three modules with a 64 megapixel main sensor. However, this model only supports 3x Hybrid Optical Zoom. The built-in memory of the device reaches 256 GB. The battery of this version of the smartphone has a capacity of 4300 milliampere-hours.

The company indicated that the new items are suitable for both work and play. Their cost will vary from 79,990 to 119,990 rubles.

Smartphones will go on sale in Russia on August 21, 2020, and pre-orders will also be open from August 5 to August 20 inclusive.

On July 9 it became known that some sets of Samsung smartphones may lose their charging adapters. The developers argue this decision with the desire to reduce production and logistics costs, as well as concern for the environment. According to official figures, thousands of tons of serviceable adapters go to the trash every year.
