The operatives who arrived at the scene found out that the deceased was a 19-year-old native of Kalmykia, a third-year student at the First Moscow State Medical University named after Sechenov. According to the recordings of video cameras, it was established that the girl was walking at night on October 21 and fell into a one and a half meter hole dug for the installation of a lamppost and did not have a fence.
On this fact, the investigating authorities are conducting an inspection aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the tragedy. As part of the check, a legal assessment of the incident will be given for signs of a crime under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (performance of work that does not meet safety requirements), the press service of the investigative body said.
