The Ministry of Youth of the Republic of Tatarstan reported that this summer more than 183 thousand schoolchildren and students from Tatarstan will rest in the camps of the country, reports IA “Tatar-inform”.
10.8 thousand children who are in difficult life situations will receive free vouchers. They are planned to be sent to children’s health camps in the Krasnodar Territory, Crimea and Mari El. Almost 21 thousand more children from among the winners and prize-winners of olympiads, creative contests and sports competitions will go to the specialized shifts of the Black Sea coast camps, country camps and “Sult”.
Also, 17 thousand students of colleges and universities of the republic will go to labor and recreation camps. In addition, children with disabilities will have the opportunity to go to summer camps.
In addition, this year the occupancy rate in the camps in Tatarstan will increase to 75%, while last year they were allowed to occupy only half of the places. Despite this, in 2020, about 140 thousand children rested in them.
