14-year-old missing in Penza found alive

An eighth-grader who disappeared two days ago in Penza was found alive. This was announced on Sunday, September 6, by the press service of the regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

As the boy himself explained, late in the evening on September 4, he went home after a walk on Fontannaya Square in the city center and met a friend on the way. The child decided to spend the night with him. He told his relatives about his whereabouts only on Sunday night by calling his grandmother.

“According to the available information, no illegal actions have been committed against the wanted person,” the department said.

Currently, in the framework of the investigation of the criminal case opened after the disappearance of the teenager, the investigators are trying to find out the reasons for the boy’s act, studying his living conditions and methods of upbringing.

The disappearance of an eighth grader in Penza became known the day before. Nikita G. was reported to have gone missing on Friday evening. The last time the teen’s grandmother saw him at a public transport stop, when he was about to go to the city center.
