13 players left the Kazakhstani hockey club “Barys”. The relevant information has been published on the official website of the Kontinental Hockey League, Vesti.kz reports.

In addition to goalkeeper Sergei Kudryavtsev, defenders Jesse Blacker, Dillon Hetherington and Alex Lintuniemi, it became known about the departure of goalkeepers Henrik Karlsson and Yoni Ortio, defenders Viktor Svedberg, Leonid Metalnikov, strikers Phil Varon, Jacob Lilja and Matt Frattin.

The press service of “Barys” explained that the indication of seven hockey players with the “left” status does not mean their actual departure from the club.

Also in “Barys” they recalled that a large group of hockey players had their contracts expired on April 30, and stressed that negotiations with players whose names did not indicate new teams or statuses were continuing.

Striker Pavel Akolzin and defender Alexei Maklyukov also appear among those who left – both players of the Kazakhstan national team signed contracts with Metallurg Magnitogorsk. And forward Linus Videll moved to Uorgarden.
