A criminal case was opened against the chief accountant and accountant of the technical school in Volgograd. They are suspected of large-scale abuse of office.
According to the investigation, the accountants of the Volgograd technical school entered false information about their salaries on the pay slips. They indicated a larger amount than it really is. However, they submitted to the tax service the data provided for by the employment contract.
According to the press service of the Volgograd Region Prosecutor’s Office, the theft of budget funds was found during the reconciliation of information from the tax service and data on the money received. As a result, it turned out that the accountants had stolen more than 350 thousand rubles in this way.
The investigation of the criminal case was carried out by employees of the Investigation Department No. 8 of the Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Volgograd.
