Washington | The US government confirmed Monday that it had received an offer from Oracle regarding TikTok, after its Chinese parent company ByteDance rejected the Microsoft proposal the day before, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said.

“We received a proposal over the weekend that includes Oracle as a trusted technology partner, with numerous national security recommendations. (…) We are going to examine this at the committee (on foreign investments in the United States, editor’s note) this week, then we will make a recommendation to the president and examine it with him, ”he said on CNBC channel .
