Applications for participation in the All-Russian urban hackathon “Goroda” are currently being accepted, Salekhard is one of the cities where young urbanists will “try on” their improvement projects.
As part of the Goroda hackathon, architects, designers and urbanists explore the region, communicate with local architects and, led by a professional curator, develop new landscaping projects for four cities: Lipetsk, Volkhov, Kazan and Salekhard.
Applications will be accepted until August 13 inclusive. The selection is open to architects, urbanists, environmental designers and industrial designers from Russia aged 18 to 35 years old with experience in land improvement projects.
The expert council of the project will select 36 best participants who will be united into teams (12 teams of three people). In each city, three teams will work online on projects. In Salekhard, urbanists will show their strength from 24 to 26 August.
The winning teams will receive funding to implement their project in 2021-2022.
