In Moscow, investigators charged a woman who tried to sell her child for half a million rubles. This was reported on Friday, November 13, on the website of the Main Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the capital.
According to the investigation, the 24-year-old citizen of Ukraine published an advertisement on the Internet about the search for adoptive parents for her newborn child, writes NSN. In the course of correspondence with the future parents, she demanded 500 thousand rubles, specifies “Moscow 24”.
On November 12, in one of the restaurants in Moscow, after receiving the money, she handed the child over to the customer and wrote a receipt. At this time, the police detained the woman in the act. The sale of the child took place as part of operational activities.
The child is currently in a specialized children’s institution under medical supervision. There is no threat to his life and health.
The charge was brought under the article on the sale of a minor who is knowingly in a helpless state. During the interrogation, the detainee said that she had decided to commit a crime because of a difficult life and material situation, writes the Moscow city news agency. The investigation intends to petition for the arrest of the accused.
