Tyumen doctors of the regional clinical hospital No. 2 restored the face of a man who had been bitten in the face by a fighting dog. This was reported by the press service of the medical institution.

The patient was admitted to the hospital with deep wounds in the buccal and submandibular regions. It was decided to carry out plastic surgery with local fabrics in order to return an attractive look to the face, writes the portal “Our City”.

“After performing a surgical treatment of the wound, the surgeons performed plastic surgery by displacing the skin around the defect,” the hospital explained.

According to doctors, the wound could simply be sewn up, but then there would be noticeable scars on the face. After the operation, only a thin, hair-thick scar will be reminded of the bite.

On April 6, it was reported that the surgeons of the Chelyabinsk Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital (CHODB) performed a unique operation. A lump of hair about 25 cm in size and weighing almost a kilogram was extracted from the stomach of a 12-year-old girl.
