Three cars collided on the 172th km of the Yekaterinburg-Serov highway, as a result two people died and five more were injured, REN TV reports, citing the press service of the traffic police department in the Sverdlovsk region.
The alleged culprit of the accident was an 18-year-old girl driving a KIA Rio, who got her driver’s license about a month ago.
She lost control and drove into the oncoming lane, where she collided with a Ford car. He flew off the impact to Renault, moving in the same direction.
The driver of KIA died at the scene of the accident. A woman driving a Ford was also killed. She was taken to hospital, where she later died without regaining consciousness.
Five people were injured in the road accident, including two children.
Earlier on December 4, it was reported that a minibus collided with a passenger car in the Tver region near the village of Korykhnovo, ten people were injured.
