In Serpukhov, the Russian boxing championship among boys aged 19-22 has come to an end.
Ten young boxers became the winners of this important tournament. Among them are two athletes from the Moscow region – Dmitry Dvali and Konstantin Opolsky.
In total, more than 200 fighters represented 53 regions of the country at the championship. The fights were in 10 weight categories. The winners will be part of the youth team, which will go to the European Championship in Italy.
In addition to the champion belt, cup and medal, the winners received the keys to new cars. In the team standings, the places were distributed as follows: the Republic of Dagestan – 1st place, Moscow – second place and St. Petersburg – third. The best boxer of the championship was named Edgar Tsambov (St. Petersburg).
