Tula Kosogorsk Metallurgical Plant takes part in the reconstruction of the Bolshoy Kamenny Bridge in Moscow. The foundry section of the blast-furnace shop produced the first batch of casting according to the samples sent. Cast iron poles of the first type and lower link will be shipped to the buyer as soon as possible. The site of the plant reports.

The second order for Bolshoy Kamenny Bridge will include more massive posts, decorative lamppost covers and handrail inserts.

The main stage of the reconstruction of the bridge is scheduled for the spring of 2021.

“In this regard, the range of products cast by the site will also be expanded,” the source adds.

Let us remind you that the Big Stone Bridge connects Mokhovaya and Znamenka streets near the Kremlin’s Borovitskaya tower with Serafimovich and Bolshaya Polyanka streets on the opposite bank. It is recognized as a cultural heritage site, but has not been overhauled since its construction in 1938.
