In the first quarter of 2021, prosecutors conducted an anti-corruption examination of regulatory legal acts. They studied 2,312 documents. The prosecutor’s office of the Tula region reports about it.

According to the results of the examination, 346 protests were brought by the employees of the supervisory authority, 50 requests were made to amend the legal regulations in order to eliminate corruption-generating factors. Prosecutors identified the largest number of such factors in the following areas:

  • regulation of human rights, freedoms, and duties – 109;
  • provision of state and municipal services – 104.

We will remind, earlier “MK in Tula” wrote that in Dubna, in a kindergarten, the prosecutor’s office found a “dead soul”. The supervisory authority checked the institution for compliance with the requirements of anti-corruption legislation.

We also reported that the Tula region was not among the most corrupt regions.
