Tula boxer Timur Gamzatov successfully performed in boxing competitions. This is reported by the administration of the city of Tula. The 58 Belgrade Winner tournament was held in Serbia.

The athlete competed in the weight category up to 91 kilograms and had three fights.

In the quarterfinals Timur Gamzatov defeated the boxer from Croatia, in the semifinals he was stronger than the representative of Great Britain, and in the final he won against the multiple champion of Kazakhstan, the silver medalist of the Olympic Games Vasily Levit.

Earlier “MK in Tula” told that the young Tula once again became the winner in the wrestling tournament. The tournament was held in the Leningrad region on April 24-25. It was dedicated to the memory of M.I.Sedyuk and the soldiers who died in local conflicts.

Stepan Gordeev became the winner of the tournament in the 53 kg weight category. He studies in the sixth grade of MBOU “Education Center N 58” Generation of the future “”. He has been engaged in freestyle wrestling at the Children’s and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve of the Tula Region from the age of five under the clear guidance of Alexei Livshits.
