“People’s Budget” continues to benefit the residents of Astrakhan, changing the appearance of the city for the better
In Astrakhan, on an ongoing basis, they carry out repair work on city streets, ennobling public areas and updating the road surface. This time, the update affected Tsuryupy Street in the Svobodny settlement of the Leninsky district of the city, where a team of workers was sent a few weeks ago. Now work is being carried out on the pedestrian zone on one side of the road, on the opposite side, trees, hatches, poles and fences, which are installed with violations, interfere.
Having looked at all this, the experts thought about moving the sidewalk closer to the roadway. Local residents, in a conversation with the city authorities, expressed a desire to leave the path in place, because most of them are elderly people who cannot remove structures near their houses on their own. The head of the city assured the citizens that their opinion would be taken into account when making the final decision.
After such a conversation with the Astrakhan people, it was decided to carefully study the state of the former sidewalk area of Tsuryupy Street. As a result, workers will saw off old trees that grow throughout the street and interfere with repairs. The owners of fences installed illegally will receive instructions to eliminate violations. Old wooden poles need to be updated or replaced with other, more modern counterparts that do not pose a danger to people. They decided to leave the sidewalk in place, they promised to put a new coating by the beginning of the summer.
All work on the renovation of Tsuryupy Street is carried out within the framework of a special governor’s project “People’s Budget”. Like any improvement in the city, the opinion of the Astrakhan people is initially taken into account, who express their point of view on the accumulated questions on this problem.
