Former US President Donald Trump plans to resume his participation in the political life of the country and again begin to communicate with journalists, reports on Monday, February 15, Associated Press.

According to the agency, “Trump’s unstoppable friends and allies expect him to resume friendly media interviews after weeks of silence.”

It is noted that the ex-president “is fixated on revenge on the Republicans who supported his impeachment or resisted his efforts to cancel the results of the November elections,” but still aims to help the Republican Party take control of the House of Representatives and the Senate in the 2022 midterm elections.

“I believe that in the coming days, you are likely to hear from him a lot more,” – quoted by the agency senior adviser to Trump Jason Miller.

On February 13, the U.S. Senate acquitted former President Donald Trump through impeachment proceedings. 57 senators voted for acquittal, 43 spoke in favor of condemning. Thus, the impeachment did not receive the required two-thirds of the votes.

After the failure of the impeachment procedure, Trump promised to present his vision of the future of the United States soon.

On January 25, the former American leader opened an office in Palm Beach Florida as a venue for future public appearances. The office’s responsibility will include Trump’s correspondence, his public appearances and speeches, public and propaganda activities aimed at promoting U.S. interests and the Trump administration’s agenda.
