US President Donald Trump retired from a press conference after an awkward question from CBS News reporter Paula Reed about the Veterans’ Choice Project.
She caught Trump in a lie after claiming that the project was a merit of his administration.
“It was passed in 2014, it’s a false statement, sir,” Reed said.
In response, Trump tried to turn the floor over to another journalist, but Reed stopped him and repeated her question. As a result, the American leader thanked everyone and left the podium.
In the horse of June, it became known that Trump insulted foreign colleagues during classified telephone conversations. So, he called German Chancellor Angela Merkel “stupid”, and former British Prime Minister Theresa May “stupid”.
In February, Trump refused to shake hands with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi ahead of his annual State of the Union Address.
