According to official information, six patients died in the Volgograd region per day against the background of coronavirus infection.
The operational headquarters reported that none of the patients began to seek help immediately at the first signs of illness. An 83-year-old woman from Volgograd tried to recover on her own, but a few days later she ended up in the hospital due to a deterioration in her health.
Two days after the onset of the disease, an 82-year-old resident of Volgograd turned to doctors, three days later – an 82-year-old man from the Novoanninsky district and a 73-year-old pensioner from the Oktyabrsky district.
Only four days later, an 85-year-old Volzhan and a 74-year-old Kamyshanka turned to the doctors.
All patients were diagnosed with a coronavirus against the background of bilateral pneumonia. Despite all the efforts of doctors and the comprehensive treatment that was carried out according to the recommendations of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, it was not possible to save the lives of patients.
