Three robbery suspects detained in the Volgograd region

The suspects in the robbery were detained in hot pursuit by the inspectors of a separate DPS battalion of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region, together with the investigative-operational group of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Ilovlinsky District.

Last Saturday at about 11.20 a 48-year-old agronomist from the Ilovlinsky district turned to the guards. He said that three unknown persons threatened him with a knife near agricultural greenhouses three kilometers from the village of Bolshaya Ivanovka and stole 20 thousand rubles. The men fled in a car.

The victim described to the police the signs of the attackers and information about the car, after which the orientation was sent to all the patrols, the press service of the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

The suspects in the robbery were detained. They turned out to be residents of Uzbekistan, two of whom were temporarily officially working in the fields of the Volgograd region. One was on the territory of Russia illegally.

Measures were taken to return the stolen money to the victim. A criminal case was initiated under article “Robbery” (part 2 of article 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
