Accidents with the victims occurred the day before in the north of Volgograd, in the Oktyabrsky and Kalachevsky districts of the region.
As it became known in the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region, the fire in the Kalachevsky region was reported on May 1 at 07.30. On Chekmarev Street, household items caught fire in one of the apartments. A woman born in 1941 died.
In the village of Oktyabrskoye, a fire occurred at about 10.44 on Vodstroevskaya Street. In the apartment of a wooden 4-apartment building, things were engulfed in flames. Although the fire was eliminated very quickly, a man born in 1977 died in the fire.
Information about the fire on the territory of the Traktorozavodsky district of the regional center was received by the emergency service at 00.23. One of the apartments was on fire in a nine-story building on Kropotkin Street. Emergency Situations Ministry employees eliminated the fire in 20 minutes. A man born in 1952 died in the fire.
