The victims of a fire in an illegal sewing workshop near Moscow Vidnoye turned out to be foreigners, REN TV reported on February 14.
TASS, citing a source in the emergency services, clarifies that we are talking about citizens of Vietnam.
“According to preliminary data, all the victims are citizens of Vietnam. The house was also rented by a citizen of Vietnam from a Russian. There were no complaints from neighbors, ”the agency’s source said.
According to him, during the fire, 26 residents of the house managed to get out onto the roof. One woman was left inside, she was poisoned by the products of combustion and was saved. Six people jumped off the roof and were injured.
Medical assistance was required by 20 workers of illegal garment production in Vidnoye, Moscow Region, where a fire broke out.
The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation reported that the information about the fire came from an eyewitness at 01:34. When firefighters arrived at the scene, the first two floors of the four-story building were on fire. At 03:27 the fire was extinguished.
