TV towers in Moscow and Chelyabinsk were decorated with special lighting dedicated to the Immortal Regiment action on the night of May 4, REN TV reports.

In particular, the inscription “Nobody is forgotten, nothing is forgotten” was displayed on the spire of the Ostankino tower, and the flag of Russia and the Order of Victory appeared on the screens of the tower.

The TV tower in Chelyabinsk will display the colors of the St. George ribbon, as well as the inscription “Immortal regiment. Nobody is forgotten. Nothing is forgotten. “

The Ostankino TV Tower joined the Immortal Regiment action last year, too – then the screens of the tower showed, among other things, photographs of participants in the Great Patriotic War.

Earlier, on April 19, Elena Tsunaeva, co-chair of the Central Headquarters of the Immortal Regiment of Russia movement, announced that on May 9 the action would be held online. At the same time, she expressed the hope that this year’s event will take place on June 24 in the traditional format.

Earlier, in April, the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that the format of the Immortal Regiment this year will depend on the epidemiological situation.
