A teenager who was injured while riding a “cheesecake” attached to a car died in a Moscow hospital. This was announced on Thursday, February 4, by a source in law enforcement agencies to AGN “Moscow”.
The 15-year-old boy died the day before in the intensive care unit of one of the children’s hospitals in the capital. He was diagnosed with severe concomitant injury, cerebral edema, open traumatic brain injury and multiple fractures of the skull bones.
The source clarified that the teenager was injured on January 9, when he rode a “cheesecake” attached to a car with friends in the 1st Mirgorodsky lane.
“While driving, the minor crashed into a tree at a speed of about 60 km / h,” the city news agency Moskva quotes him.
Law enforcement agencies are checking on the fact of the incident.
Earlier, on January 20, it was reported that the Investigative Committee of Russia since the beginning of 2021 has counted 19 cases of injuries to Russians while riding tubing or the so-called “cheesecakes”, as well as when descending from ski slopes.
Deaths and cases of serious injury as a result of tubing in the early days of 2021 were also recorded in Moscow, Chita, Saransk, Yaroslavl and Amur regions.
