In Transbaikalia, in the implementation of the national project “Safe and High-Quality Highways” in 2021, a systematic approach will be applied. On August 11, MK in Chita was informed about this in the press service of the regional government with reference to Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Kefer.
The systematic approach will be based on the interests of residents and focus on points of economic growth. In particular, next year it is planned to repair the Kalga-Priargunsk-Krasnokamensk road, which is of great importance for local residents.
In addition, in 2021, a number of road works will be carried out in Chita: development of a project for a trolleybus line at KSK, reconstruction of Zhuravlev Street, overhaul of Gorky, Oniskevich, Magistralnaya streets, Razdolny passage and current repair of 11 more streets.
By 2024, 1,078 km of roads and 207.8 km of roads in the Chita urban agglomeration should be repaired in the region.
