The suspect in the murder of a 4-year-old girl was detained in hot pursuit.
The murder of a girl in Gorlovka will not go unpunished. The suspect has already been detained in the Nikitovsky district in hot pursuit, the press service of the DPR Interior Ministry said. For the murder of a 4-year-old child, a 48-year-old resident of Gorlovka faces capital punishment.
According to the official version of the investigation, the suspect was a friend of a resident of Gorlovka, who came to visit him with her young daughter. It is reported that the woman brought alcohol with her, and the owner of the house was already intoxicated. But this did not prevent him from continuing alcoholic libations with his girlfriend.
Some time later, the girl’s mother decided to go away on business, leaving the child in the care of an already pretty drunk drinking companion. The man tried to put the girl to bed, but she refused and was capricious. This pissed off the attacker, and he struck with a fist, as a result of which the child fell and hit the stove. The girl showed no signs of life. The suspect, frightened of responsibility, decided to get rid of the body and hide its parts in different places.
According to the DPR Ministry of Internal Affairs, the actions committed by a man fall under Part 2 of Article 106 of the DPR Criminal Code: a murder committed with extreme cruelty. This carries a maximum sentence of life imprisonment or the death penalty.
