Vasily Piskarev, head of the commission of the State Duma of the Russian Federation to investigate outside interference, announced that 10 foreign centers had been identified that specialize in preparing protests and riots in the Russian Federation.
These centers, as the politician said, are engaged in conducting courses and trainings for citizens of the Russian Federation. Returning to the country, they act as organizers and active participants in unauthorized actions.
Graduates of the courses, according to Piskarev, “are trying to organize illegal actions, organize riots, promote drugs and involve minors in destabilizing activities.” The State Duma commission has information about 40 such graduates, the deputy stressed.
It should be noted that a draft law has been submitted to the State Duma for consideration, providing for the introduction of a ban for Russian citizens on membership in foreign non-governmental organizations recognized as undesirable, as well as criminal liability for the leadership of such organizations.
