Washington reaffirms its support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. This was stated by a representative of the US State Department.
“We continue to support the Minsk agreements as the basis for a diplomatic settlement … of the conflict in eastern Ukraine,” he said.
The diplomat also called on Russia to abandon its “uncompromising” position in order to resolve the situation in Donbass.
“We will continue to use every opportunity for the US to participate in diplomatic efforts to (resolve) the conflict between Ukraine and Russia,” the State Department explained.
