On May 1, the first city fountains and fountain complexes began to work. Among them, according to the press service of the State Unitary Enterprise “Vodokanal”, are fountains near the Winter Palace and the Kazan Cathedral.
Also fountains were launched in the park of the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg.
In total, according to Vodokanal, 65 out of 111 fountains, which are on the balance sheet of the department, will operate in the 2021 season.
By the way, on May 9 the townspeople will be able to admire the launch of seven more fountain complexes: the main fountain of the Moscow Victory Park “Slava”; the fountain complex on Moscow Square; fountain complex on Lenin Square; fountain in the South Primorsky Victory Park; fountain on Pavlovskaya st. in Kolpino; fountain with light and music accompaniment in the public garden on the Torgovaya square in Peterhof; fountain “Tic-Tac-Toe” in the lane. Freedom in the city of Sestroretsk.
The fountains will operate from 9 am to 9 pm.
