Political consultant and publicist Anatoly Wasserman, speaking at the headquarters exercises of the Fair Russia party, said that the innovations in the reform to change the age for calculating pensions do not solve the problem itself, but postpone it indefinitely. He proposed to demand from the State Duma and the Russian government to return to the previous age indicators.

“The very idea of changing the retirement age in Russia is erroneous and not justified,” says Wasserman. He added that the government now illiterately organizes economic processes and focuses on the needs of the rich, rather than developing the economy and production processes.

According to him, the government’s arguments about raising the retirement age were aimed at depriving citizens of social rights and the right to a well-deserved rest. Wasserman stressed that if a person wants to continue working, then this should be his personal choice.

“Raising the age for calculating pensions is the lot of those who do not know how to properly organize the economy in the state,” the publicist noted, proposing to find funds for accruals in the federal budget, in the national welfare fund.

“Statements that they are not in the Pension Fund are not a question for citizens, but for the management of the fund, which has failed to preserve and increase them, and this is unfair to those who constantly made tax payments, working all their lives,” – concluded the expert.

Anatoly Wasserman today took part in the headquarters exercise “For Justice and Truth – 2021” at the invitation of the leader of the “Fair Russia” party Sergei Mironov.
