Everything indicates that the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline will soon be completed, all that remains is to settle issues related to its functioning, the representative of the Polish government for strategic energy infrastructure Piotr Naimsky said on the air of Polish Radio.
He pointed out that the Russians continue to build the last section, despite the imposed sanctions. “Today everything looks like this gas pipeline will be completed,” said Naimsky. At the same time, discussions are continuing on a number of legal issues related to the launch of the pipeline.
The representative of Poland stressed that his country has always protested against this project, since Russia intends to use Nord Stream 2 as a political tool.
The construction of Nord Stream 2 has reached its final stage. Construction in Danish territorial waters should be completed by the end of April, in German – by the end of May.
