Finance Minister Anton Siluanov told reporters what the government decided to save on by adopting the draft budget for 2021-2023 for the sake of saving.
According to him, all expenses not related to public obligations and social obligations were reduced by 10%, the State Armament Program was reduced by 5%.
“We got about 900 billion rubles each,” he said.
Siluanov also noted that next year the salaries of civil servants, except for military personnel, will not be indexed.
Thus, in 2021, 927 rubles will be saved, and in the following years 970 billion and 900 billion.
According to Siluanov, without these cuts it was not possible to achieve balanced principles of budgetary policy in 2022.
“Therefore, what is called a thread from all measures was collected to balance the budget,” the minister added.
