In the city of Glazov (Udmurt Republic) in 2020 they plan to start building a gas pipeline in the Zapadny microdistrict. The head of the republic, Alexander Brechalov, announced this on his page in the social network “Vkontakte”.
There are 500 households in the Zapadny microdistrict, whose residents have repeatedly asked the authorities to resolve the issue of gas supply. As the head of the republic noted, construction will begin in high and medium pressure areas with the installation of two distribution cabinets, writes IA “Susanin”.
In 2020, 35 gasification facilities will be commissioned in 15 districts and three cities of Udmurtia. Specialists will build 400 km of networks in 57 settlements. More than 6 thousand houses will be supplied with gas by the end of the year.
Currently, a program for the development of gas supply for 2021-2025 is being additionally developed. It has already included 33 objects in 15 districts.
Last year, 250 km of networks were built. As of January 2020, gasification in the region was 59%. It was decided to increase the pace by more than one and a half times.
On July 27, it was reported that Messoyakhaneftegaz, a joint venture between Gazprom Neft and Rosneft, launched a unique scheme for utilizing associated petroleum gas. The company commissioned an underground gas storage facility at the Zapadno-Messoyakhsky license area located on the Gydan Peninsula of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District.
