The total area of fires in the Rostov region has reached 170 hectares. About this on Wednesday, September 2, writes TASS with reference to the press service of the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Emergencies.
“As of 19:00 Moscow time in the Rostov region there are four landscape fires on a total area of 170 hectares,” the message says.
The most difficult situation is observed in the Tarasovsky district, where the forest is burning on an area of 150 hectares. In this regard, a temporary accommodation center has been deployed in the village of Mityakinskaya. Rescuers continue to put out fires in the Belokalitvinsky district on an area of 14.3 hectares.
Yaroslav Gladchenko, Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the EMERCOM of Russia for the region, said that in the Tarasovsky District, a fire destroyed two uninhabited houses in the Duby farm. In addition, a fire destroyed six unexploited buildings in the Kamensky District, and two outbuildings in the Krasnosulinsky District.
Earlier on the same day, a Mi-8 helicopter with a spillway from the Southern Military District flew to the place of extinguishing a fire in the Tarasovsky District of the Rostov Region.
On Wednesday afternoon, about 100 people were evacuated from the Duby farm in the Rostov region because of a fire. Rescuers extinguished 20 country houses in the garden association “Pioneer” in the Belokalitvinsky district.
