It is most likely that Apple will present new iPads, AirPods and iMac Pros with proprietary processors at the April 19 presentation, as well as possibly show hybrid devices that combine the functions of a tablet, smart speaker and set-top box. The interviewed experts told Izvestia about this.
The event will be held online in connection with the coronavirus pandemic in the world. Parallels Program Management Director Alexander Patsai believes that the presentation this time will do without extraordinary announcements and Apple is unlikely to present automotive developments.
Last week, The Korea Times reported that Apple has signed contracts with LG Electronics and auto parts maker Magna, which has customers Ford, Toyota and Honda.
“For the presentation of a product in an entirely new category for the company, Apple will find a different date in post-epidemiological times. This will allow you to call journalists, show them the product, let them touch it, take a ride. All this does not fit into the format of an hour-long video presentation, which was warned about a week before, ”said Patsai.
Other experts think that Apple will show hybrid devices, one of which, for example, will combine the functions of a “smart” speaker and set-top box Apple TV.
