The head of the IT department of Reksoft, Evgeny Chertok, told how to disable advertising tracking on a smartphone. Surveillance is carried out by almost all applications, he explained to Prime. It is mainly about geolocation and search history. Chertok pointed out that smartphone owners themselves give mobile applications access to the camera, microphone and messages. Access to the microphone allows you to analyze the recording on powerful servers, this data is later sold for a lot of money. In order for the smartphone to reveal less information about the face, you need to turn off the mobile Internet, wi-fi and bluetooth. But every time you turn it on, the gadget sends data. Chertok noted that in the era of universal digitalization, privacy does not exist – after all, even push-button phones are tracked.
