The Supreme Courtroom of Karelia has overturned the acquittal of three law enforcement officials accused of negligence after the homicide of two ladies by Anton Ipatov, a “Petrozavodsk maniac”. This was introduced on Tuesday, July 28, by a consultant of the courtroom.
“The case has been sent for reconsideration to the Petrozavodsk City Court,” RIA Novosti quotes her. The consideration of the case was carried out on the premise of the appeals of the victims and the presentation of the prosecutor’s workplace of the republic.
Earlier, on the finish of Might, the Petrozavodsk Metropolis Courtroom acquitted the accused of negligence, the deputy head of the Directorate of the Ministry of Inside Affairs for Petrozavodsk Ivan Voronov, the senior district police station No. 2 Rinat Gratiy, and the senior investigator of the Directorate of the Ministry of Inside Affairs Ekaterina Khorina. In September 2018, Ipatov killed two ladies he met on the road in Petrozavodsk with specific cruelty.
