The collapse of the rock occurred on the morning of Monday, September 14, in the face of the Chertinskaya-Koksovaya mine in the Kemerovo region. According to preliminary data, one person died, TASS reports, citing a source in the operational services.
It is noted that at the time of the incident there were 95 people in the face, 87 of them were evacuated, six remained to maintain the life support of the mine.
“Previously, one miner was killed, the fate of another is unknown,” – said the agency’s interlocutor.
The press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Kemerovo Region reported that departments of mine rescuers are working at the scene. The work involved 31 people and seven pieces of equipment.
According to the Department of the Coal Industry of the Kemerovo Region, mining and sinking at the coal enterprise are temporarily suspended due to the incident, a commission is working on the spot, the causes of the incident are being established.
On August 15, the rock collapse occurred at the Erunakovskaya-8 mine in Kuzbass. As a result, two miners were killed.
