The reason for the fire in the oxygen booth of the Chelyabinsk hospital was the emergency operation of electrical equipment. A law enforcement source told TASS on Saturday, October 31.
“According to preliminary data, the emergency mode of operation of electrical equipment led to the fire,” said the source of the news agency. He added that other versions will also be explored, in particular oxygen leakage from a cylinder due to improper installation.
Roszdravnadzor, in turn, will check the city hospital in Chelyabinsk, where the explosion occurred. The corresponding instruction was given by the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko.
