The best basketball players of the Science City received awards. This happened after the basketball championships for men’s and women’s teams ended.
The solemn event took place in the meeting room of the city administration. The winning teams and prize-winners were awarded diplomas, the best players were awarded medals and personal certificates. Basketball players of BC “Progress” became the leaders among men’s teams, and “Youth Sports School-Michurinsky GAU” became the leaders among the women’s teams.
For the successful training of athletes, the coaches of the sports teams of the BC “Progress”, “Michurinsky GAU”, “Milorem”, “DYUSSH – Michurinsky GAU” and others deserved encouragement.
The department for physical culture and sports of the Michurinsk administration was responsible for the preparation and conduct of the competition.
