The city administration said that information about restrictions on the sale of alcoholic beverages during the May holidays is actually incorrect.

Today on various news portals there was information about the upcoming bans on the sale of alcohol from 1 to 10 May. But such data were finally denied by the official authorities.

The first reports of a ban on the sale of alcohol on the May holidays appeared on social networks, but then quickly spread to other media outlets. However, according to regional laws, such restrictions can only apply during mass cultural events. The sale of alcoholic beverages will be banned only near the places where the holidays are held, but upon completion, the restriction will be lifted immediately, writes Volgogradskaya Pravda.ru.

On social networks, they reacted with humor to messages about the bans. Users note that even one day of hype could provide stakeholders with an increase in profit from the sale of “forbidden” drinks.
