The artillerymen of the Central Military District (CVD) held a dress rehearsal of the Victory salute at the training ground near Yekaterinburg.
Six crews of 76-mm ZIS-3 anti-tank guns of the 1942 model were involved in the dress rehearsal, and among the participants of the event there are the most trained contract servicemen who were trained in specialized centers of the Ministry of Defense.
During the rehearsal, in order to work out the coherence and synchronization of the shots, several dozen volleys were fired, the interval between which was 30 seconds.
The festive fireworks will take place on May 9, 2021 on Victory Day, it is planned to fire 30 volleys. Three Yekaterinburg sites will be involved in the fireworks at once: the Preobrazhensky Park in the Academic District, the Uralmash Summer Park and the Dynamo embankment located in the central part of the city.
On April 17, it became known about a major exercise among more than 1.5 thousand motorized riflemen of the Central Military District. The military worked out the tasks of countering sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the imaginary enemy and conducting combat operations in defense.
